Which Bible translation is included?
Sacred Scrolls uses the Douay-Rheims translation, a faithful English translation of the Latin Vulgate. It includes all 73 books of the Catholic canon, including the Deuterocanonical books.
How does audio narration work?
Each chapter has professionally generated multi-voice audio narration. Tap the play button while reading any chapter to listen. You can also enable ambient sounds (rain, ocean, fireplace, forest, wind) for a peaceful listening experience. Audio plays in the background so you can listen while doing other things.
What is the AI study companion?
The AI chat helps you explore Scripture by answering questions about passages, providing historical context, cross-references, and Catholic-informed insights. Free users get limited conversations per day; Sacred Scrolls Pro unlocks unlimited AI chat.
How do I manage my subscription?
Sacred Scrolls Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple. To view, change, or cancel your subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Sacred Scrolls to manage or cancel
How do I request account deletion?
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days.
The app isn't working correctly

- Force quit the app and reopen it
- Check your internet connection (audio and AI features require internet)
- Restart your device
